Destinations

Imagine the Possibilities...

Of a knowledgeable and up-to-date front line - that understands the value of tourism - that has a renewed sense of pride - that feels connected and works together as a team to deliver your brand promise!

This exciting, ground-breaking program has many features that translate into a wide variety of benefits that permeate, and elevate, the entire hospitality and business community.

Tourism is big business.  Convention & Visitors Bureaus (CVB), Destination Marketing Organizations (DMO), Chambers of Commerce, economic development and workforce development organizations, cities, counties and states all recognize the importance of  tourism to the local, state and national economy.

Visitors spend money attending to business, touring attractions, or learning about the history of the area.  But in reality, no amount of money will make up for the visitor having a bad experience, which negatively impacts the destination's brand and overall image.

Until the inception of this certification program, there was no consistent way to ensure that front line employees and volunteers understood their role in increasing tourism by Enhancing the Visitor ExperienceTM.

The CTA program extends beyond customer service training -- the program reinforces the training individuals may receive from their employer and builds upon it with a rich, customized curriculum that is designed to enhance their knowledge about the destination and their pride for living and working there.

The CTA Program is a natural fit to help achieve a myriad of objectives including, uniting front line employees and volunteers, increasing overall convention and tourism business, increasing the economic impact of tourism and building a positive brand and destination image.  See what destinations are saying about the program.
